Terms of Service

  1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS By downloading, accessing, or using “Hosted” (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

  2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE Hosted is a platform designed to connect users (“Guests”) with other users (“Hosts”) for the purpose of coordinating Shabbat meals. The Service acts solely as a venue for users to interact. We are not a party to any agreement between Hosts and Guests and do not employ Hosts.

  3. USER ACCOUNTS & ELIGIBILITY 3.1. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. 3.2. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. 3.3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

  4. USER CONDUCT & ZERO TOLERANCE We have a zero-tolerance policy for objectionable content and abusive behavior. You agree not to: 4.1. Use the Service for illegal purposes. 4.2. Harass, threaten, demean, or abuse other users. 4.3. Post content that is defamatory, obscene, hateful, or discriminatory. 4.4. Solicit personal information from anyone under 18. 4.5. Use the Service for commercial solicitation without written consent.

Violation may result in immediate suspension or termination.

  1. HOSTING & GUEST POLICIES 5.1. Hosts are solely responsible for the meals and environments they provide. 5.2. Guests are responsible for their conduct while attending a meal. 5.3. We do not guarantee the quality, safety, or legality of meals advertised. 5.4. Users interact at their own risk.

  2. CONTENT & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY 6.1. You retain ownership of content you post, but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, copy, display, and distribute it in connection with the Service. 6.2. App branding, design, code, and graphics are the property of Hosted.

  3. TERMINATION We may suspend or terminate access at our discretion, including for violations of these Terms.

  4. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

  5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, Hosted SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL.

  6. INDEMNIFICATION You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hosted and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

  7. GOVERNING LAW These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York.

  8. CHANGES TO TERMS We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
